A little insider optimism
Banco Bradesco got a fresh dose of insider buying, and the market loves this kind of thing almost as much as it loves pretending a single trade can explain everything. The company’s Head of PE and VC bought 96,702 shares for a total of about $1.7 million.
Why investors care
Insider purchases can matter because executives usually have a better feel for the business than the rest of us doom-scrolling from the outside. When they’re buying with their own money, it can signal confidence — or at least a belief the stock is undervalued.
- 96,702 shares changed hands in the buy
- Total consideration: about $1.7 million
- The headline question for investors: is this a real vote of confidence, or just one data point in a noisy tape?
Don’t over-romanticize it
One insider buy is not the same thing as a glowing earnings report, a raise in guidance, or some magical “we’re off to the races” moment. But when a bank executive is adding to the position, it can be a decent clue that management sees more upside than downside.
Big picture: insider buys don’t guarantee gains, but they do tend to get investors’ attention — especially when they come from someone close to the action.
