BofA says the AI story is getting better
Salesforce is waking up on the right side of Wall Street after Bank of America upgraded the stock to Buy. The bank’s big idea: AI trends around the company are improving, which is basically analyst-speak for “this might not be just a fancy demo anymore.”
Why investors care
For Salesforce, AI is the whole plotline now. The company has spent a lot of time telling everyone its software can do more, automate more, and generally feel more futuristic. When a big bank says the traction is getting better, that can nudge sentiment, especially for a mega-cap name where the growth story matters almost as much as the actual numbers.
The market loves a better narrative
This isn’t the same thing as Salesforce suddenly shipping a moonshot product or printing blockbuster earnings. But upgrades can still move the stock because they reset expectations. If investors start believing the AI effort is becoming a real revenue tailwind, CRM gets a little more room to run.
Big picture: Salesforce doesn’t need a sci-fi robot uprising — it just needs enough AI progress to keep the story believable, and Wall Street just gave that story a friendlier review.
