Question to those adding DRAM? Are you adding to Roth or brokerage? I have SMH in brokerage so wondering whether I should add DRAM to brokerage too? Thanks
For DRAM (Roundhill Memory ETF), I’d generally lean Roth IRA first if you have Roth space and see it as a higher-upside thematic bet. If Roth space is scarce or you want simpler tracking alongside your existing SMH (VanEck Semiconductor ETF), taxable brokerage is also reasonable.
I don’t have your synced portfolio data available, so I can’t judge your total semiconductor exposure. But account-placement wise: Roth for highest-upside thematic exposure; brokerage if you want it grouped with SMH and are comfortable with the tax reporting.
